Common applications
A long label wraps all the way around a round bottle or jar, with the front design on one side and the details on the back.
Equipment, machines and products get a large label with directions, safety notes or a diagram.
Tumblers and mason-style candle jars take a band that wraps the vessel, so the scent name shows from every side.
32 and 64 oz growlers and jugs need a large wraparound or front label.
These are typical uses, not requirements. Measure your container first; the FAQ below shows how.

3.5 × 7.5 in rectangle labels FAQ
Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.
About $243.39 CAD for 1,000 ($0.243 each) and $135.47 for 250, on matte roll stock. At 5,000 the total is about $663.60, or $0.133 per label. These are approximate prices from our live price list as of October 6, 2026; the quote builder shows your exact price, including standard shipping, before you add to cart.
Typically about 410 to 880 per roll, based on one lane of labels on a 3 in core wound up to 6 in across. Where you land in that range depends on the unwind direction: the long side running along the roll gives fewer labels per roll. Bigger orders ship on more than one roll, and you can ask for a set count per roll in your order notes.
Yes. Enter the width and height the way your artwork reads; 3.5 × 7.5 and 7.5 × 3.5 in are the same price. For rolls, also pick the unwind direction so labels come off the roll the right way up for your product or applicator.
Matte BOPP is our default (about $243.39 for 1,000 at this size). Glossy is about $257.99, clear about $277.46 and freezer grade about $296.94 for the same 1,000. All of them are waterproof; choose freezer grade for cold or frozen products and clear for a no-label look.
Measure the flat or straight part of the container. The label needs a panel at least 3.5 in by 7.5 in, with a little margin. If you want it to wrap all the way around, the long side (7.5 in) covers a round container of about 2.4 in diameter with a small gap.
At about 26.25 sq in, think a full panel with directions, nutrition facts or a long ingredient list plus a barcode. A good rule of thumb is to keep text about 1/16 in (1.5 mm) inside the cut line and run backgrounds past the edge.
