Designing a 2.5 × 7.5 in rectangle label

Decide on portrait or landscape first; the quote builder prices both the same, and the unwind direction sets how the roll comes off. A label this big can carry the whole story, but leave white space so the product name still stands out.

2.5 × 7.5 in rectangle labels FAQ

Common
questions.

Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.

What does an order of 2.5 × 7.5 in rectangle labels cost?+

On matte rolls, 250 labels are about $130.50 CAD, 1,000 about $199.35 and 5,000 about $548.12 ($0.110 each). Prices are approximate, taken from our live price list on October 6, 2026. Enter your quantity in the quote builder for the exact total with standard shipping included.

How many 2.5 × 7.5 in rectangle labels fit on one roll?+

Typically about 410 to 1,200 per roll, based on one lane of labels on a 3 in core wound up to 6 in across. Where you land in that range depends on the unwind direction: the long side running along the roll gives fewer labels per roll. Bigger orders ship on more than one roll, and you can ask for a set count per roll in your order notes.

What materials are available for 2.5 × 7.5 in labels?+

Matte BOPP is our default (about $199.35 for 1,000 at this size). Glossy is about $211.32, clear about $227.26 and freezer grade about $243.21 for the same 1,000. All of them are waterproof; choose freezer grade for cold or frozen products and clear for a no-label look.

Can I order 7.5 × 2.5 in instead of 2.5 × 7.5 in?+

Yes. Enter the width and height the way your artwork reads; 2.5 × 7.5 and 7.5 × 2.5 in are the same price. For rolls, also pick the unwind direction so labels come off the roll the right way up for your product or applicator.

What can I fit on a 2.5 × 7.5 in rectangle label?+

Plan for a full front label with a description, or a back label with ingredients and directions. Keep important text and logos a little inside the cut line (about 1/16 in, 1.5 mm, is a good rule of thumb) and use a background that runs past the edge as bleed.

How do I check that a 2.5 × 7.5 in label fits my container?+

Measure the flat or straight part of the container. The label needs a panel at least 2.5 in by 7.5 in, with a little margin. If you want it to wrap all the way around, the long side (7.5 in) covers a round container of about 2.4 in diameter with a small gap.
