Common applications

Where 1 in circle labels work well.

01

Jewellery boxes and pouches

A neat badge on a ring box, earring card or gift pouch keeps the presentation simple and branded.

02

Envelope and card seals

Close envelopes, invitations and thank-you cards with a branded seal instead of tape.

03

Monograms and wax-seal looks

Round and oval labels mimic a wax seal for invitations, gift wrap and premium packaging.

04

Vial and sample caps

Small rounds sit on the caps of sample vials, perfume testers and tiny jars, where a full label would not fit.

05

Small tin lids

Salve, balm and mint tins usually have a round or square lid with a flat area just big enough for a compact label.

These are typical uses, not requirements. Measure your container first; the FAQ below shows how.

Is 1 in the right size?

A 1 in circle is close to the size of a US quarter, which makes it a handy size for lip balm tubes, sample lids and envelope seals. The label covers about 0.79 sq in (25 mm) and has room for a logo plus a product name, or two or three short lines of text.

Between sizes? Compare circle labels one step smaller: 0.5 in, 0.75 in and one step larger: 1.25 in, 1.5 in, or browse all label sizes.

Designing a 1 in circle label

If your logo is wider than it is tall, scale it so it clears the curve on both sides, not just the top and bottom. Small labels need bold, simple artwork: a strong logo and short words read better than a list.

1 in circle labels FAQ

Common
questions.

Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.

How much are 1,000 1 in circle labels?+

About $121.61 CAD for 1,000 ($0.122 each) and $108.28 for 250, on matte roll stock. At 5,000 the total is about $124.59, or $0.025 per label. These are approximate prices from our live price list as of October 6, 2026; the quote builder shows your exact price, including standard shipping, before you add to cart.

How many 1 in circle labels fit on one roll?+

Typically about 2,800 per roll, based on one lane of labels on a 3 in core wound up to 6 in across. Bigger orders ship on more than one roll, and you can ask for a set count per roll in your order notes.

Circle or square at 1 in?+

On rolls they cost the same, because shape is not priced. A 1 in circle gives about 0.79 sq in of label against 1.00 sq in for a 1 × 1 in square, so pick the square if you need the corners for text and the circle for lids and seals.

How do I know a 1 in circle fits my lid?+

Measure the flat part of the lid, not the outside rim. A 1 in circle sits comfortably on a flat area of about 1.25 in (32 mm) or more, which leaves roughly 1/8 in all round. If the flat area is smaller, look at the next size down.

What can I fit on a 1 in circle label?+

At about 0.79 sq in, think a logo plus a product name, or two or three short lines of text. A good rule of thumb is to keep text about 1/16 in (1.5 mm) inside the cut line and run backgrounds past the edge.

Which material should I choose for 1 in circle labels?+

Matte BOPP is our default (about $121.61 for 1,000 at this size). Glossy is about $128.90, clear about $138.63 and freezer grade about $148.36 for the same 1,000. All of them are waterproof; choose freezer grade for cold or frozen products and clear for a no-label look.
