Common applications
Round tins take a tall side label or a lid label with the blend name and steeping notes.
Soap boxes and bath bomb packaging take a front label with the scent and ingredients.
The lid is the first thing customers see on a shelf of candles; a round or square label there carries brand and scent.
QR codes stay reliably scannable when the code itself is at least about 0.8 in across, which these sizes allow with a margin.
A round or square seal closes bakery boxes and paper bags and shows your brand at the same time.
These are typical uses, not requirements. Measure your container first; the FAQ below shows how.

Between sizes? Compare circle labels one step smaller: 2 in, 2.25 in and one step larger: 2.75 in, 3 in, or browse all label sizes.
If your logo is wider than it is tall, scale it so it clears the curve on both sides, not just the top and bottom. There is room for hierarchy here: one large element, one medium line and small supporting text.

2.5 in circle labels FAQ
Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.
On matte rolls, 250 labels are about $128.00 CAD, 1,000 about $133.87 and 5,000 about $253.38 ($0.051 each). Prices are approximate, taken from our live price list on October 6, 2026. Enter your quantity in the quote builder for the exact total with standard shipping included.
Rolls are wound to order, so the count can be adjusted. Our guide figure is about 1,200 labels per single-lane roll, assuming a 3 in core and a roll up to 6 in across. Tell us in the order notes if your applicator needs something different.
Four stocks are available: matte (about $133.87 per 1,000 here), glossy ($141.90), clear ($152.61) and freezer grade ($163.32). Pick glossy for brighter colour, clear for glass and clear plastic, and freezer grade for anything stored cold.
On rolls they cost the same, because shape is not priced. A 2.5 in circle gives about 4.91 sq in of label against 6.25 sq in for a 2.5 × 2.5 in square, so pick the square if you need the corners for text and the circle for lids and seals.
Measure the flat part of the lid, not the outside rim. A 2.5 in circle sits comfortably on a flat area of about 2.75 in (70 mm) or more, which leaves roughly 1/8 in all round. If the flat area is smaller, look at the next size down.
Yes. Per label, expect about $0.512 at 250, $0.134 at 1,000 and $0.051 at 5,000. Choose Custom quantity in the quote builder for anything larger.
