Common applications
The lid is the first thing customers see on a shelf of candles; a round or square label there carries brand and scent.
QR codes stay reliably scannable when the code itself is at least about 0.8 in across, which these sizes allow with a margin.
A round or square seal closes bakery boxes and paper bags and shows your brand at the same time.
Soap boxes and bath bomb packaging take a front label with the scent and ingredients.
Drop one on every package or seal your tissue paper with it; a simple way to make every order feel finished.
These are typical uses, not requirements. Measure your container first; the FAQ below shows how.

Centre the main element. Circles are cut on a round die, so anything near the edge is the first thing to look off-centre. There is room for hierarchy here: one large element, one medium line and small supporting text.

2.25 in circle labels FAQ
Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.
On matte rolls, 250 labels are about $125.18 CAD, 1,000 about $128.11 and 5,000 about $211.79 ($0.042 each). Prices are approximate, taken from our live price list on October 6, 2026. Enter your quantity in the quote builder for the exact total with standard shipping included.
We wind rolls to your order. As a guide, a single-lane roll of 2.25 in circle labels on a 3 in core and up to 6 in across holds about 1,300 labels. Larger orders are split over several rolls. If your dispenser or applicator needs a specific core, roll size or count per roll, add a note to your order.
Measure the flat part of the lid, not the outside rim. A 2.25 in circle sits comfortably on a flat area of about 2.5 in (64 mm) or more, which leaves roughly 1/8 in all round. If the flat area is smaller, look at the next size down.
On rolls they cost the same, because shape is not priced. A 2.25 in circle gives about 3.98 sq in of label against 5.06 sq in for a 2.25 × 2.25 in square, so pick the square if you need the corners for text and the circle for lids and seals.
Plan for a brand, product name and a few lines such as flavour, weight or a short description. Keep important text and logos a little inside the cut line (about 1/16 in, 1.5 mm, is a good rule of thumb) and use a background that runs past the edge as bleed.
Quantities start at 100 labels and every order has a $50 minimum. At this size 100 labels already come to about $113.88, so the minimum does not change your price; most of a small order is the fixed set-up part, which is why the price per label drops quickly as you order more.
