1.5 × 4.5 in rectangle labels FAQ
Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.
About $134.19 CAD for 1,000 ($0.134 each) and $127.98 for 250, on matte roll stock. At 5,000 the total is about $257.12, or $0.051 per label. These are approximate prices from our live price list as of October 6, 2026; the quote builder shows your exact price, including standard shipping, before you add to cart.
We wind rolls to your order. As a guide, a single-lane roll of 1.5 × 4.5 in rectangle labels on a 3 in core and up to 6 in across holds about 690 to 1,900 labels. Where you land in that range depends on the unwind direction: the long side running along the roll gives fewer labels per roll. Larger orders are split over several rolls. If your dispenser or applicator needs a specific core, roll size or count per roll, add a note to your order.
It is the same label turned 90 degrees, and the price is identical. Type the size the way your artwork reads (portrait or landscape), then choose the unwind direction that suits how you apply the labels.
Measure the flat or straight part of the container. The label needs a panel at least 1.5 in by 4.5 in, with a little margin. If you want it to wrap all the way around, the long side (4.5 in) covers a round container of about 1.5 in diameter with a small gap.
Matte BOPP is our default (about $134.19 for 1,000 at this size). Glossy is about $142.24, clear about $152.97 and freezer grade about $163.71 for the same 1,000. All of them are waterproof; choose freezer grade for cold or frozen products and clear for a no-label look.
Plan for a brand, product name and a few lines such as flavour, weight or a short description. Keep important text and logos a little inside the cut line (about 1/16 in, 1.5 mm, is a good rule of thumb) and use a background that runs past the edge as bleed.
