A compact rectangle fits the back of small products, tags and cards with a price, SKU or short description.

1.5 × 2.25 in rectangle labels FAQ
Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.
About $127.11 CAD for 1,000 ($0.127 each) and $119.20 for 250, on matte roll stock. At 5,000 the total is about $164.83, or $0.033 per label. These are approximate prices from our live price list as of October 6, 2026; the quote builder shows your exact price, including standard shipping, before you add to cart.
Typically about 1,300 to 1,900 per roll, based on one lane of labels on a 3 in core wound up to 6 in across. Where you land in that range depends on the unwind direction: the long side running along the roll gives fewer labels per roll. Bigger orders ship on more than one roll, and you can ask for a set count per roll in your order notes.
It is the same label turned 90 degrees, and the price is identical. Type the size the way your artwork reads (portrait or landscape), then choose the unwind direction that suits how you apply the labels.
Plan for a brand, product name and a few lines such as flavour, weight or a short description. Keep important text and logos a little inside the cut line (about 1/16 in, 1.5 mm, is a good rule of thumb) and use a background that runs past the edge as bleed.
Matte BOPP is our default (about $127.11 for 1,000 at this size). Glossy is about $134.73, clear about $144.90 and freezer grade about $155.07 for the same 1,000. All of them are waterproof; choose freezer grade for cold or frozen products and clear for a no-label look.
Measure the flat or straight part of the container. The label needs a panel at least 1.5 in by 2.25 in, with a little margin. If you want it to wrap all the way around, the long side (2.25 in) covers a round container of about 0.8 in diameter with a small gap.
