Why it matters
Use plain stock bags and apply a branded label so you can switch origins without a new bag print run.
A second label carries the origin, tasting notes and roast date, so the brand label never changes.
Foil and matte finishes give a micro-roaster the shelf presence of a larger brand.
Add a seal for subscription boxes, café resale and gift sets using the same brand mark.
Use a rectangle or oval front label for the brand, a round seal for the bag fold or tin lid, and a second rectangle for origin and tasting notes. A 250-label order is a sensible test for a new origin.
Reserve a plain rectangle zone on your label for the roast date or lot number if you plan to stamp or add it by hand, and keep the logo in high-contrast ink so it reads on kraft.

Coffee Labels FAQ
Printed labels can carry a fixed message, but a roast date changes with every batch. Many roasters print a branded label and add the date with a stamp or separate sticker.
Our BOPP labels apply to many bag finishes, but matte kraft, foil and coated pouches behave differently. Order a short test run and apply it to your actual bag.
A 3 x 4 in label suits many 250 g to 1 kg pouches, but pouch size and design vary. Measure the flat area you want to label and we will help you set the size.
