Common applications
Feed, soil, coffee and flour bags need a large label with the product, weight and batch.
Logos, opening hours and promotions on doors, windows and display cases; waterproof BOPP stands up to cleaning.
1 to 5 gallon pails and large tubs need a big front or lid label with the product name, contents and handling notes.
A full-cover label turns plain notebooks, journals and binders into branded products.
Big labels on pallets, master cartons and totes show contents, destination and lot number from a distance.
These are typical uses, not requirements. Measure your container first; the FAQ below shows how.

about $602.51 for 1,0007.5 × 9 in is a sign-size near-square rectangle, sized for jobs like bulk bags and sacks and window, door and display stickers. That is about 7% more label area than the 7 × 9 in rectangle. The label covers about 67.50 sq in (190 × 229 mm) and has room for sign-style artwork: big graphics readable from across a room, or a full sheet of instructions, specs or a diagram.
Need a little more or less room? Compare rectangle labels one step smaller: 6 × 11 in, 5.5 × 12 in and one step larger: 7 × 10 in, 6.5 × 11 in, or browse all label sizes.
Leave the right edge clear if the label wraps a bottle, so the overlap or gap does not cut through text. Design at full size and check it from a few steps back: headline text should be large enough to read at a distance, and images need enough resolution for the print size (about 300 dpi at final size).

7.5 × 9 in rectangle labels FAQ
Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.
Expect roughly $528.52 CAD for 1,000 matte roll labels at this size, which works out to $0.529 per label; 250 come to about $200.49. The table above lists more quantities. Your exact price, with standard shipping, appears in the quote builder as soon as you set the quantity.
Rolls are wound to order, so the count can be adjusted. Our guide figure is about 350 to 410 labels per single-lane roll, assuming a 3 in core and a roll up to 6 in across. Where you land in that range depends on the unwind direction: the long side running along the roll gives fewer labels per roll. Tell us in the order notes if your applicator needs something different.
It is the same label turned 90 degrees, and the price is identical. Type the size the way your artwork reads (portrait or landscape), then choose the unwind direction that suits how you apply the labels.
Matte BOPP is our default (about $528.52 for 1,000 at this size). Glossy is about $560.23, clear about $602.51 and freezer grade about $644.79 for the same 1,000. All of them are waterproof; choose freezer grade for cold or frozen products and clear for a no-label look.
Measure the flat or straight part of the container. The label needs a panel at least 7.5 in by 9 in, with a little margin. If you want it to wrap all the way around, the long side (9 in) covers a round container of about 2.9 in diameter with a small gap.
At about 67.50 sq in, think sign-style artwork: big graphics readable from across a room, or a full sheet of instructions, specs or a diagram. A good rule of thumb is to keep text about 1/16 in (1.5 mm) inside the cut line and run backgrounds past the edge.
