Made for splashes and condensation
BOPP film does not soak up water the way uncoated paper does, which is why it is a common choice for chilled drinks, bathroom products and kitchen bottles.

Paper labels wrinkle, bleed and peel when they get wet. Every 2Day label is printed on waterproof BOPP film, so bottles in an ice bucket, jars in a fridge and bottles in a shower all keep the artwork you approved on your proof.

Why it matters
BOPP film does not soak up water the way uncoated paper does, which is why it is a common choice for chilled drinks, bathroom products and kitchen bottles.
Our standard BOPP is waterproof, a better match for sauces, balms, soaps and anything that leaves a fingerprint than uncoated paper.
Matte and gloss are both waterproof, so you pick the look first and the performance comes standard.
You see your artwork and cut line first, so you catch problems before water ever touches the label.
Pick the shape and size for your container first, then choose gloss for vivid colour or matte for a softer look. Both are waterproof, so you do not trade protection for style. For very cold storage add freezer-grade stock, and start with a short run to check adhesion on your own packaging.
Apply labels to clean, dry containers at room temperature, and press firmly across the whole label. Moisture trapped under the label during application is a more common problem than the label itself.

Waterproof Labels FAQ
BOPP is a plastic film, so the label face does not absorb water. How long a label lasts on your product still depends on the container surface, adhesive and conditions, so we recommend testing a short run in real use.
Standard BOPP handles many chilled uses. For products stored frozen, choose Freezer grade in the quote builder, and test a sample on your packaging.
We do not make those claims for standard labels. If your use is extreme, such as heat, chemicals or long outdoor exposure, tell us before you order and test samples.
