Not quite right? Compare square labels one step smaller: 5 × 5 in, 5.5 × 5.5 in and one step larger: 7 × 7 in, 8 × 8 in, or browse all label sizes.
Square labels are a good home for a QR code or icon grid because the space is used evenly. Large labels are easy to overfill; group information into blocks and keep the brand clear from a distance.

6 × 6 in square labels FAQ
Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.
Expect roughly $439.37 CAD for 1,000 matte roll labels at this size, which works out to $0.439 per label; 250 come to about $176.49. The table above lists more quantities. Your exact price, with standard shipping, appears in the quote builder as soon as you set the quantity.
Rolls are wound to order, so the count can be adjusted. Our guide figure is about 520 labels per single-lane roll, assuming a 3 in core and a roll up to 6 in across. Tell us in the order notes if your applicator needs something different.
Plan for a full panel with directions, nutrition facts or a long ingredient list plus a barcode. Keep important text and logos a little inside the cut line (about 1/16 in, 1.5 mm, is a good rule of thumb) and use a background that runs past the edge as bleed.
Measure the flat or straight part of the container. The label needs a panel at least 6 in by 6 in, with a little margin. If you want it to wrap all the way around, the long side (6 in) covers a round container of about 1.9 in diameter with a small gap.
Same price on rolls. The 6 × 6 in square gives 36.00 sq in against about 28.27 sq in for a 6 in circle, about 27% more room for text, while the circle sits more neatly on round lids.
About 152 × 152 mm. If your packaging drawings are metric, switch the quote builder to CM and type the size directly.
