about $155.37 for 1,000Choose 2 × 3.5 in when you need a mid-size tall oval; it works well for jam and preserve jars and maple syrup bottles. It has roughly 17% more space than a 2 × 3 in oval. The label covers about 5.50 sq in (51 × 89 mm) and has room for a brand, product name and a few lines such as flavour, weight or a short description.
Between sizes? Compare oval labels one step smaller: 2 × 2.5 in, 2 × 3 in and one step larger: 2.25 × 3.25 in, 2.5 × 3 in, or browse all label sizes.
Text near the narrow ends of an oval gets clipped first, so keep long lines in the middle band. There is room for hierarchy here: one large element, one medium line and small supporting text.

2 × 3.5 in oval labels FAQ
Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.
About $136.29 CAD for 1,000 ($0.136 each) and $128.43 for 250, on matte roll stock. At 5,000 the total is about $268.69, or $0.054 per label. These are approximate prices from our live price list as of October 6, 2026; the quote builder shows your exact price, including standard shipping, before you add to cart.
Typically about 880 to 1,500 per roll, based on one lane of labels on a 3 in core wound up to 6 in across. The range depends on whether the long or short side runs along the roll, which follows the unwind direction you choose. Bigger orders ship on more than one roll, and you can ask for a set count per roll in your order notes.
They are the same price on rolls. A 2 × 3.5 in oval has about 5.50 sq in of label compared with 7.00 sq in for the rectangle, so plan a centred badge layout and keep long lines away from the narrow ends.
Check the straight wall, not the curved shoulder or base: you need at least 2 × 3.5 in of flat or gently curved surface. Wrapped around a round container, a 3.5 in length covers one about 1.2 in across, leaving a small gap.
Yes. Enter the width and height the way your artwork reads; 2 × 3.5 and 3.5 × 2 in are the same price. For rolls, also pick the unwind direction so labels come off the roll the right way up for your product or applicator.
Plan for a brand, product name and a few lines such as flavour, weight or a short description. Keep important text and logos a little inside the cut line (about 1/16 in, 1.5 mm, is a good rule of thumb) and use a background that runs past the edge as bleed.
