Common applications
A long strip wraps around a soap bar or a stack of products as a band.
Round tins take a tall side label or a lid label with the blend name and steeping notes.
Narrow labels for binder spines, archive boxes and book spines carry a title, date range or catalogue number.
Capsule and powder bottles need a wide label for the product name, dosage and supplement facts.
A separate back label carries the nutrition table, ingredients and allergens so the front can stay clean.
These are typical uses, not requirements. Measure your container first; the FAQ below shows how.

Decide on portrait or landscape first; the quote builder prices both the same, and the unwind direction sets how the roll comes off. A label this big can carry the whole story, but leave white space so the product name still stands out.

About $166.17 CAD for 1,000 ($0.166 each) and $128.82 for 250, on matte roll stock. At 5,000 the total is about $412.54, or $0.083 per label. We wind rolls to your order. As a guide, a single-lane roll of 2.25 × 6 in rectangle labels on a 3 in core and up to 6 in across holds about 520 to 1,300 labels. Where you land in that range depends on the unwind direction: the long side running along the roll gives fewer labels per roll. Larger orders are split over several rolls. If your dispenser or applicator needs a specific core, roll size or count per roll, add a note to your order.
It is the same label turned 90 degrees, and the price is identical. Type the size the way your artwork reads (portrait or landscape), then choose the unwind direction that suits how you apply the labels.
Measure the flat or straight part of the container. The label needs a panel at least 2.25 in by 6 in, with a little margin. If you want it to wrap all the way around, the long side (6 in) covers a round container of about 1.9 in diameter with a small gap.
Plan for a full front label with a description, or a back label with ingredients and directions. Keep important text and logos a little inside the cut line (about 1/16 in, 1.5 mm, is a good rule of thumb) and use a background that runs past the edge as bleed.
Matte BOPP is our default (about $166.17 for 1,000 at this size). Glossy is about $176.14, clear about $189.44 and freezer grade about $202.73 for the same 1,000. All of them are waterproof; choose freezer grade for cold or frozen products and clear for a no-label look.
