Common applications
Strips that wrap a cord or sit on a plug make it easy to tell chargers and cables apart.
Long narrow strips run along shelf edges, bin fronts and drawers with a product name, location or price.
Narrow strips label tubes, vials and sample bags with codes or dates that need to survive handling and moisture.
A narrow strip adds a name or brand to pens, markers, tools and other thin items.
A small strip or oval on the neck of a bottle adds a vintage, flavour or batch number.
These are typical uses, not requirements. Measure your container first; the FAQ below shows how.

It has roughly 14% more space than a 0.75 × 3.5 in rectangle. The label covers about 3.00 sq in (19 × 102 mm) and has room for a brand, product name and a few lines such as flavour, weight or a short description.
Need a little more or less room? Compare rectangle labels one step smaller: 1.5 × 2 in, 1 × 3 in and one step larger: 1.25 × 2.5 in, 1 × 3.25 in, or browse all label sizes.
Leave the right edge clear if the label wraps a bottle, so the overlap or gap does not cut through text. There is room for hierarchy here: one large element, one medium line and small supporting text.

0.75 × 4 in rectangle labels FAQ
Prices and roll counts on this page are estimates. The quote builder gives your exact price before checkout, and every order starts with a free proof.
On matte rolls, 250 labels are about $117.97 CAD, 1,000 about $127.58 and 5,000 about $158.79 ($0.032 each). Prices are approximate, taken from our live price list on October 6, 2026. Enter your quantity in the quote builder for the exact total with standard shipping included.
Rolls are wound to order, so the count can be adjusted. Our guide figure is about 770 to 3,600 labels per single-lane roll, assuming a 3 in core and a roll up to 6 in across. Where you land in that range depends on the unwind direction: the long side running along the roll gives fewer labels per roll. Tell us in the order notes if your applicator needs something different.
Yes. Enter the width and height the way your artwork reads; 0.75 × 4 and 4 × 0.75 in are the same price. For rolls, also pick the unwind direction so labels come off the roll the right way up for your product or applicator.
Check the straight wall, not the curved shoulder or base: you need at least 0.75 × 4 in of flat or gently curved surface. Wrapped around a round container, a 4 in length covers one about 1.3 in across, leaving a small gap.
0.75 × 4 in is about 19 × 102 mm. You can switch the quote builder to centimetres and enter the size in cm if your packaging is specified in metric.
At about 3.00 sq in, think a brand, product name and a few lines such as flavour, weight or a short description. A good rule of thumb is to keep text about 1/16 in (1.5 mm) inside the cut line and run backgrounds past the edge.
